Judy's cousin, Cecy and her husband Jack invited us all to their beautiful home in the country for a family gathering. Besides the Nichols clan and the Thompsons, we saw Aunt Neets, Ellen and Laurie.

Christmas in Louisville

Christmas Day

We opened presents, ate a sushi lunch, and posed for a family portrait ... all on Christmas day.

Christmas Eve dinner

We invited our friends, Ruby and Aurelie and their parents Heather and Eric over for our Christmas Eve feast ... roast turkey and all of the trimmings! Everyone pitched in to make it a festive occasion!

Grandma and Grandad arrive

We had fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandad. We read books, ate out at the Salt Lick, and went to see an amazing light display in our neighborhood.

Pajama day at school!

We got to wear pj's on the last day of school before Christmas break!

Visiting with Aunt Etsuko and Uncle Alan

Aunt Etsuko and Uncle Alan came all the way from Tokyo, Japan to visit! We had a lot of fun with them ... especially making origami and other craft projects.
