Allie and Papa's Visit

Allie and Papa came to visit for one week in May. We had a great time with them playing, eating good food and seeing some sights around Austin.

James' last day in Pre K

Play date in the Country

Andrew's classmate Ryan hosted the class to her house in the country for a play date. Actually it's only a few miles from our house. Among other fun activities, the kids enjoyed hunting real eggs from the neighbors'chicken coop.

New Jeep

Our friends the McLatchers left their cool blue battery-operated jeep at our house for a few days. After mechanics Andrew and James made a few adjustments, it ran as good as new!

Derby Party 2009

We hosted our first Derby party in Texas this year, and introduced our Texan friends to some Kentucky Derby traditions such as horse betting, Derby pie and fun Derby hats! I think we'll have to make this an annual event.
